An Important Use For a Study Skills Support Tutor

An Important Use For a Study Skills Support TutorAs a teaching assistant at a top university, I am required to have one or more study skills support tutors. I understand what they are and I know how it can help me in my work. However, I am not always sure about this type of help as I don't think I would ever need it as I have enough study skills to do the job properly. These tutors, which we call the Study Skills Support Team, or SSTU, can be very helpful. If I had to put it in a word, it is 'Support.'Support from others is essential to making sure that all is going well during the study time. In my experience, when I am working on an assignment for one semester and the students have finished and move on to the next semester, it is very important that all information is right with them. This means that all the assignments and schedules have been recorded and in one spot that they are easy to find. When I receive a tutor for a certain assignment, it is important that they understand the whole process of the assignment, including the directions, the instructions, etc. Tutors usually take notes and then let me know if they need anything else. They are usually very good in helping me with my assignments in this way. It is also very useful for a tutor to be able to show me the materials that will help me better complete my assignments. While sitting at home, many tutors are not always available to help you with your lesson plans. By getting tutors at your school, they will also be able to help you with other aspects of your classes. Having a tutor that is present at all times, even in other parts of the school, will enable you to learn and retain information much easier than if you are not always with them.A tutor is another advantage that some teachers have. For example, if you are having an exam, if there is a break between the lesson and the exam, then you might have a chance to answer all the questions and get a feel for what the class is like. With a tutor, this d oes not happen because he or she will have already done the test. One of the things that can get very boring for you during the year is reading textbooks and course outlines. Your SSTU may be able to give you suggestions for writing these materials and making them interesting. They will be able to teach you how to make your ideas simple and to make them short. You will find it very beneficial to have someone who is not just a copy-and-paste student; you will be able to learn a lot more by working with a tutor who has a practical, real-life application.
